Ending the call
Once the conversation has ended, cut the connection:
•
In the case of full-duplex calls:
–
Press the [Hang up] button, then hang up the handset.
–
or: Hang up the handset.
–
The connection is disconnected.

In the case of semi-duplex calls:
–
Wait after ending the conversation. The connection is cut automati-
cally by timeout.
–
or: Press the [Hang up] button (red button on the keypad of the call
station).
Voice communication with Webnet Client support
Voice communication between the call station and a handset with operator
actions on a Webnet Client workstation involves steps on Webnet Client
and the call station:

Operation at the Webnet Client and the call station

1. Option
–
Webnet Client: Open the device configuration.
–
Webnet Client: Double click on the subscriber tile of the destination
to which the call is to be made.
An alerting signal sounds at the destination (handset) and announces
the call from the call station.

Call station: A connection is established between the call station and
the destination. The PTT button flashes rapidly. Neither of the PTT
buttons (on call station or at destination) is pressed.
–
Call station: Press the PTT key and keep it pressed. Now speak to
the subscriber at the destination. The subscriber at the destination
hears your message.
–
Call station / Destination: Keep the PTT button on the call station
pressed and request the other subscriber to reply. Release the PTT
button once more. The other subscriber can now press the PTT
button on his/her handset, keep it pressed and reply.

Call station / Destination (handset): A two-way conversation takes
place if required. The subscriber who is speaking keeps the PTT
button pressed. The subscriber who is listening leaves the PTT
button released.

2. Option
–
Webnet Client: Open the messaging mask.
–
Webnet Client: Highlight the destination in the list of receivers
(select) to which the call is to be made.

Webnet Client: Single click on the [Connection] button (Connect to
Call Station). An alerting signal sounds at the destination (handset)
and announces the call from the call station.

Call station: A connection is established between the call station and
the destination. The PTT button flashes rapidly. Neither of the PTT
buttons (on call station or at destination) is pressed.
