Additional charge
The charge in the outdoor units corresponds to the maximum distances between the outdoor unit and the hydraulic
unit defined in
. If the distances are greater, an additional charge of R410A is required. The additional
charge depends on the distance between the outdoor unit and the hydraulic unit for each type of appliance.
The additional charge of R410A must necessarily be made by an approved refrigeration engineer.

- The charge must be introduced after creating the
vacuum and before the hydraulic unit is filled with gas,
as follows :
- Disconnect the vacuum pump (yellow hose) and connect a
bottle of R410A
instead in the fluid extraction position
- Open the bottle’s valve.
- Bleed the yellow hose by loosening it slightly on the
Manifold
side.
- Place the bottle on scales with a minimum accuracy of
10g. Note the weight.
- Carefully open the blue valve slightly and check the
value shown on the scales.
- As soon as the value displayed has dropped by the
value for the calculated additional charge, close the
bottle and disconnect it.
- Then rapidly disconnect the hose connected to the appliance.
- Proceed to fill the hydraulic unit with gas.

Always charge in the fluid phase.

Never exceed the length or the maximum difference in level.
