7.2.4 Boot Options Submenu
This submenu appears when you select [Boot Options] from the [Main] menu.
It is for setting system startup options.

POST Errors
Halt On All Errors
(Unchangeable)
Sets whether to stop the boot process and shut down the
system, in case a POST (Power On Self Test) error is detected.
• No Halt On Any Errors
System startup does not stop and the OS starts up.
• Halt On All Errors
System startup is interrupted when POST completes, and the
system startup stops.
Keyboard Check
• Disabled
• Enabled (Initial value)
Sets whether to check keyboard connection during POST.
SM Error Halt
• Disabled (Initial value)
• Enabled
Sets whether to interrupt the system startup when an error
occurs in the fan or the temperature sensor.
Fast Boot
Disabled (Unchangeable)
Sets whether to reduce the scope of POST and thereby speed
up system startup.
Quiet Boot
Disabled (Unchangeable)
Sets whether to display a logo screen instead of POST
information.
NumLock
Auto (Unchangeable)
Sets the state of the NumLock key at startup.
Boot Menu
Enabled (Unchangeable)
Sets whether to enable the [F12] key which displays Boot
Menu.
MultiBoot for
HDs
Enabled (Unchangeable)
Sets whether to enable to specify the priority of hard disks to
read OS when installing multiple hard disk units.
Boot Sequence
• CD-ROM Drive
• Diskette
• Hard Drive
• Legacy LAN Card
Press the [Enter] key to display [Boot Sequence].
Sets the boot sequence of the drives to read the OS. Change the
priority of the device being selected with the [+] and [-] keys.
To disable the boot from the device being selected, use the
[Space] key (The mark, "!" appears before the device name
when it is disabled). If nonexistent device is displayed, use the
[*] key to delete the device from the list.
