When installing a SAS array controller card (PG-248C1 / PG-248G), make sure to install the supplied 
backup unit.

Installation location of a battery backup unit

Install a battery backup unit on the battery installation plate under the 5-inch storage bays as shown in 
the figure below. Up to two units can be installed with this server.

How to install a battery backup unit

Turn off the server and the connected peripheral devices, and unplug those 
cables.

Remove the side cover.
