Chapter 1 Names and Functions
1.1 Front
This section explains the names and functions of the parts.
a Release latch
This latch is used when installing or removing this product.
b Hard disk access LED
This LED lights up green when data is being written to or read from the internal hard disk unit.
c Hard disk status LED
This LED lights up or blinks as follows depending on the internal hard disk unit status.
d Disk bay
Install internal hard disk units. Up to 5 units can be installed in this product.
LED status Description
Off Operating normally
Amber An error is detected in the internal hard disk unit
Blinking in amber Rebuilding or replacing a faulty hard disk
