7.4.4 How to Install Memory Modules

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from

the outlet.

Remove the top cover.

"7.2 Removing and Attaching the Top Cover" (pg.180)

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Remove the memory board or the dummy cover of the memory board.

To remove the memory board

Press the handle switch (1 in the figure). The handle (2 in the figure) pops out. Hold the handle

and lift it to remove (3 in the figure).
