Chapter 7 Installing Internal Options
7.1 Before Installing Internal Options
The following types of internal options can be installed in this server.
If the optional devices listed below are purchased, refer to the following to check the packaged items
before installing.
• CPU modules "B.1 CPU" (pg.289)
• Memory "B.2 Memory" (pg.290)
• Internal Hard Disk Units "B.4 Internal Hard Disk Units" (pg.291)
When installing and removing options, make sure to use the removed screws on the same devices that
were last installed or removed. Failure to do so can damage the device.
The types of optional devices listed in this manual are liable to be updated without any notice. Please
be forewarned.
