Reattaching the left side cover

Perform the removal procedure in reverse to reattach the left side cover to the server. Refer to
"4 Removing the left side cover (10 page)" for details.

Assembling the kit

1

Fasten the rack conversion kit’s front panel and the bottom tray by the 4
hex-star screws (M4,T20H) provided to form a rackmount adapter unit.
(see diagram)

•

Remain wearing the wrist grounding strap until the side
cover is completely attached.

•

Before replacing the left side cover, check to see whether
any tools were left inside the server.

•

Note that the bottom tray’s front panel does not have any
screw holes.

•

In order to penetrate the bottom tray’s front panel, special
screws (M4,T20H) requiring the use of a hexalobular driver
are used.

•

A hex-star (hexalobular) driver (T20H) is required for the M4
(T20H) hex-star screws.
