2 Important notes
In this chapter you will find essential information regarding safety when working
with your server.
2.1 Safety

The following safety notes are also provided in the manual “Safety,
Guarantee, and Ergonomics,” which contains additional information
about guarantee and ergonomics.
This device complies with the relevant safety regulations for data processing
equipment, including electronic office machines for use in an office
environment.
If you have any questions, contact your sales office or our customer service.
Before operating the device:

During installation and before operating the device, observe any
instructions on environmental conditions (see section “Technical
data” on page 6).

If the device is brought in from a cold environment, condensation may
form both inside and on the outside of the machine. Wait until the
device has acclimatized to room temperature and is absolutely dry
before starting it up. Material damage may be caused to the device if
this requirement is not observed.
