5.2 Installing/removing the Dual Node Cluster
Server in/from the rack

CAUTION!

Please observe the safety information and notes on rack mounting in
chapter
"Important information" on page 21 and section "Installing a
server node to the Dual Node Cluster Server" on page 39 .

At least two people are needed to install / remove the Dual Node
Cluster Server in the rack. (For the Japanese market, please refer to
"

Do not extend more than one unit out of the rack simultaneously even
if the tilt protection is in place. If several units are simultaneously
extended out of the rack, there is a risk that the rack could tip over.
Fujitsu rack systems
The rack systems from Fujitsu support the installation of PRIMERGY Dual Node
Cluster Servers:
– PRIMECENTER rack
– PRIMECENTER M1 rack
– DataCenter rack
– 19-inch standard rack (for the Japanese market)
– 19-inch slimline rack (for the Japanese market)

For information on mounting the Dual Node Cluster Server in the rack
please refer to the Mounting Instructions provided with the Rack
Mounting Kit. Further information you find in the manual of your rack
system.

To accommodate the ventilation concept and ensure proper ventilation, any
unused areas in the rack must be sealed using dummy covers.
