3.3.7 Enabling or disabling input of the Break signal
The ok prompt might also appear during system operation due to a Break signal from
the console terminal connected to a serial port or due to a STOP+A command issued
from the keyboard. Either of these events might result in the destruction of data.
To prevent the display of the ok prompt due to a Break signal or STOP+A command
from the console terminal, set the mode switch on the operator panel to LOCK.
3.3.8 Notes on LAN expansion

After using a PCI card to add a LAN port, enter the setenv command as follows,
after the ok prompt, to assign a MAC address to the LAN port:

If a loop prevention function such as the spanning tree protocol or domain
separation is supported by a switching hub used, disable the spanning tree protocol
at the port connecting the switching hub to main unit, or enable domain separation.
Thereby, suppress the loop prevention function.
Data destruction
The use of a command not described in this manual while the ok prompt is
displayed might destroy data. The improper use of a command described in this
manual while the ok prompt is displayed might also destroy data. Therefore, be
sure to fully understand the function and usage of each command before using it.
