5.9 Setting the Scan Options
The scan settings window appears by pressing the [Scan Settings] in the following
windows.

[Send e-Mail] window

[Send Fax] window

[Print] window

[Save] window

[Scan to SharePoint] window
The following types of scan settings are available.

Default
The recommended values are set automatically by applying the default.
 Custom
The user can change the default settings and customize any scanning preferences
as needed.
From each menu, make individual settings.
Function settings (for e-Mail, Fax, Print, Save, Scan to SharePoint) are saved for each
user, and will be used each time that user logs in.

"5.9.2 Setting Image Mode" (page 283) .
HINT
When the scan settings window is opened from the [Print] window, the [Save] menu is grayed
out.
