Overview of the Bundled Software
This product is bundled with the following software.
PaperStream IP driver
The PaperStream IP driver is a scanner driver that conforms to the
TWAIN/ISIS standard.
There are three types of PaperStream IP drivers as shown below.
- PaperStream IP (TWAIN)
Conforms to the TWAIN standard. Used when you operate the
scanner using TWAIN-compliant 32-bit applications.
- PaperStream IP (TWAIN x64)
Conforms to the TWAIN standard. Used when you operate the
scanner using TWAIN-compliant 64-bit applications.
It can be installed on 64-bit operating systems.
- PaperStream IP (ISIS) Bundle
Conforms to the ISIS standard. Used when you operate the
scanner using ISIS-compliant applications.

2D Barcode for PaperStream
This application recognizes two-dimensional codes.
It can be used with PaperStream IP (TWAIN), PaperStream IP
(TWAIN x64), PaperStream IP (ISIS) Bundle, and PaperStream
Capture. Download it from the download web page and install it.
Software Operation Panel
You can configure various settings for operating the scanner and
managing consumable parts. It is installed together with a scanner
driver (PaperStream IP (TWAIN), the PaperStream IP (TWAIN x64),
or the PaperStream IP (ISIS) Bundle).

Error Recovery Guide
Details the status of the scanner and explains how to resolve
problems encountered. It is installed together with a scanner driver
(PaperStream IP (TWAIN), the PaperStream IP (TWAIN x64), or the
PaperStream IP (ISIS) Bundle).
PaperStream Capture
An image scanning application which supports both PaperStream IP
(TWAIN) and PaperStream IP (ISIS) Bundle. By defining scan
settings as document profiles, you can customize the settings
according to your preference.
ScanSnap Manager for fi Series
An image scanning application which uses the scan settings
dedicated to ScanSnap Manager for fi Series. PaperStream IP
(TWAIN) is required for this application. Using this application makes
it easy to create an image file (a PDF, JPG, or searchable PDF file)
with a single button. Download it from the download web page and
install it.
Scan to Microsoft SharePoint
This application allows you to easily upload files from ScanSnap
Manager for fi Series to the SharePoint site.
It can be used when you scan documents with ScanSnap Manager
for fi Series. Download it from the download web page and install it.
ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap™
This application converts the scanned images into files for
applications such as Word or Excel(*1).
It can be used when you scan documents with ScanSnap Manager
for fi Series. Download it from the download web page and install it.

1.9 Bundled Software

Install the software from the bundled Setup DVD-ROM, or download the
software from the download web page that is linked from the bundled
Setup DVD-ROM and then install it.
