Select the "Show hidden files, folders and drives" radio button on the View tab for Folder and Search options in Explorer,
and hidden directories are displayed.

Delete the service name.
Delete the line when the following lines exist in the %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\services file.

Install Storage Cruiser's agent.
Newly install this version of the Storage Cruiser's agent from the DVD-ROM.

Restore the environment in which the previous version was used.
Take the following procedure to restore the previous version:
a.
Log on to the target server as Administrator privileges. If already logged on as the Administrator privileges, this step is
unnecessary.
b.
Insert the DVD-ROM "ETERNUS SF SC/ACM/Express Mediapack (Agent Program and Manual)" for this version into the DVD-
ROM drive.

ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup

.
If already inserted, this step is unnecessary.
c.
Execute the following batch file in the DVD-ROM to restore the previous version.
<DVD-ROM drive>\Agent_windows\Storage_Cruiser\windows_x86\scagtpostinst.bat backupDir
For
backupDir
, specify the directory in which backup data is stored with the absolute path.

If the directory name contains any spaces, it is surrounded by double quote characters.
d.
Eject the DVD-ROM.
This is the end of the actions in case of problem during upgrade.
Subsequently, perform the post-Upgrade Installation work. Take the appropriate actions described in "
7.3.4 Tasks to Be Performed After
".
