
8.2.5 Installing This Version
Install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent of this version, and setup the operating environment.
About Installation

For non-clustered systems:
Refer to "Installation of AdvancedCopy Manager's Agent" in the
ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide
for this version to install
the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.

For clustered systems:
Refer to "Installation of ETERNUS SF Agent" in the
ETERNUS SF Cluster Environment Setup Guide
for this version to install the
AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
However, if the system environment is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (for Intel64), in step 3 of the following sections in the
ETERNUS SF
Installation and Setup Guide
, select the installation directory that is stated for "OS type - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (for Intel64), not
using the Symfoware linkage function", even if you are actually using the Symfoware linkage function.

Setting Up Operating Environment

For non-clustered systems:

AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
Afterwards, start the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent on the Managed Server. Refer to "Starting and Stopping Daemons" or
"Starting and Stopping Services" in the
ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide
relevant to the OS of the Managed
Server for information on the start procedure.

For clustered systems:
Refer to "Customization of Managed Server Transactions" in the
ETERNUS SF Cluster Environment Setup Guide
for this version to
setup the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
8.2.6 Restoring Repository Data
Restore the backed up repository data on the Management Server. (Only when the Managed Server is operated in a cluster
configuration)
Execute the stgrepocnv command to restore the repository data and then convert it for use with the current version of the repository.

When the Management Server OS is Windows
programDir\ACM\bin\stgrepocnv -d backupDir

When the Management Server OS is Solaris or Linux
/opt/FJSVswstf/bin/stgrepocnv -d backupDir

For restoration of the repository data, start a new window for command execution, and then perform the procedure on the window.

For Solaris, add "/opt/FSUNrdb2b/lib" to the value of the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH_64 of the terminal on which the
command is executed.
