Operating the Library

To operate the library, click the [Operation] button in the menu frame.

3.12.1

Opening the CAS Door

This section explains how to open the CAS magazine insertion door. If the door is closed after inserting a
magazine, the library automatically performs an inventory operation, and reads the information for the tape
cartridges inserted.

Procedure

Select the [CAS Open] button displayed under [Operation]. The following window is
displayed.

Use the drop-down list to select the cabinet.

The CAS cannot be opened in the state of "User Cell", "CAS door is open," "In Use," or "CAS Prevent".
