Installing the Unified License requires the following.

Memory Extension for Unified for DX100 S5 (*1)

Required if the ETERNUS DX100 S5 has a system memory capacity of 32GB per ETERNUS DX.
When installing the Unified License, the following is recommended.
•
64GB system memory for DX200 S5(for 1CM)
IMPORTANT
Unified License cannot be installed if the Deduplication/Compression function is used.
Drive Enclosure
This section explains the installation conditions and installation rules for drive enclosures.
Drive enclosures can be installed without installing any drives.

For details on the rack installation order, refer to "Rack Installation Specifications" in "Site Planning Guide".

Types of Drive Enclosures
There are three types of drive enclosures that correspond to available drive sizes (2.5", 3.5", and high-density
3.5").
Twenty-four 2.5" drives can be installed in a single 2.5" type drive enclosure.
Twelve 3.5" drives can be installed in a single 3.5" type drive enclosure.
Sixty high-density 3.5" drives can be installed in a high-density drive enclosure.
