Installing an accessible drive
To use the latch function of the accessible 5 1 /
4
inch drive, you must fi t the corresponding
drive cover before installing the drive in the casing. Proceed as follows:
► Open the casing (see "Open the casing", Page 43 ).
► Open the service door (see "Open the service door", Page 45 ).
► If a blind cover is fi tted, remove it.
Do not throw away the blind cover. If you remove the drive again later, you must
re
fi t the blind cover for the purposes of cooling, fi re protection and to prevent the
entry of foreign bodies (see "Remove accessible drive", page 61).

► Remove the drive plate from the bracket.

► Connect the drive plate to the drive (1).
