Working with the notebook
CD/DVD drives (device-dependent)
Your notebook is supplied with a CD/DVD drive. Depending on the variant, your notebook will be
equipped with either a dual DVD±RW drive or a multi format DVD drive with double layer support.
Please ask your local computer store for assistance if you are not sure which CD or DVD type
best suits your needs, e.g. backing up data, recording
fi lms, storing pictures, etc..

DVD±RW dual drive
With the DVD±RW dual drive you can read all CD/DVD types listed above. You can also
write CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD+Rs, DVD+RWs, DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs.

Multi-format DVD drive DL support
With the Multi-format DVD drive with double layer support you can read all optical

DVD+RWs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs and DVD+R DLs.
