Basic Printing Methods
3.1 Basic Printing Methods
Open the printer driver screen on the connected computer, and then make settings such as the
Paper Type and Paper Size.
1.
Load paper into the printer.

Display the print screen for the application you are using.
Click [Print] from the [File] menu.
Operations may differ depending on the application software being used. See the manual
supplied with the application for more details.
3.
Display the printer driver’s screen (details printing settings) from the application’s
print screen.
Select this printer, and then click [Print Settings] (or [Detailed Settings] or [Properties]).
4.
Make the necessary settings.
Setting Item Explanation
Paper Type Set the paper being used.
Image Quality Normally set [Standard].
Paper Size Set the size of the paper used for printing.
Border Setting Select Border Settings.

5.
When you have finished making settings, click the [OK] button.
6.
Click [Print] on the application’s print screen.
Printing is started.
Important:
Do not switch user accounts while printing. If you switch to a different user account while
printing, printing will be forcibly canceled. It will then take eight minutes until you can print
again.
Note:
In the following cases, paper rewinding may occur between the interval of two prints.
• Consecutively print the printings whose size and image quality (Standard/High Quality) differ.
• There is a time interval between two prints.
