Replacing the Maintenance Cartridge

5.3.2  Replacement Procedure

1. 

Check that the printer’s power light is on.

If the power light is flashing, the printer is operating. Wait until all operations have stopped.

2. 

Open the cartridge cover on the right.

3. 

Remove the Maintenance cartridge carefully without tilting.

 CAUTION

Removed ink cartridges may have ink around the ink absorb port. Be careful not to 

contaminate the surroundings.
