Replacing Ink Cartridges

Replacing Consumables

5.2.2 Replacement Procedure

Check that the printer’s power light is on.

If the power light is flashing, the printer is operating. Wait until all operations have stopped.

The ink light indicates if it is necessary to replace the ink cartridges.

In this example we are replacing the C (cyan) cartridge. The procedure is the same for the

other colors.

Open the cartridge cover on the side that needs to be replaced.

Remove the used ink cartridge.

CAUTION

Removed ink cartridges may have ink around the ink supply port, so be careful not to

get any ink on the surrounding area when removing the cartridges.
