First Steps

Charging the Battery

Charging the Battery from a Computer

The battery will charge while the cam-
era is connected to a computer via the
supplied USB cable.

The camera will only charge when off .

Connect the camera directly to the
computer. Do not connect the camera
via a USB hub or keyboard.

Charging will end if the computer enters sleep mode. To resume charging, reac-
tivate the computer and reconnect the USB cable.

Depending on their make, confi guration, and status, some computers may fail
to charge the battery.
