Adjusting Print Head Density (Stripes)
Print a chart to make adjustments when regularly patterned streaks (vertical lines) of dark and light
shading appear on copy or print output. When striping occurs throughout, perform common
correction. When striping occurs in a specific 10.8 mm (chip), correct that chip individually.
Note
Striping may occur in a specific chip for a specific color.
When no change occurs despite adjustment, it is necessary to restore the pre-adjustment value. Make a
note of adjustment values.
Printing a Chart

Load either of the following paper sizes into the paper tray.

8.5×11
