Mac OS X Device Options and Print Driver Settings
This section describes printer specific settings for print driver properties. For other items, refer to the Help.
Although the setting procedure differs for Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.4 and Mac OS X 10.5-10.8, the setting items are
common.
Device Options Settings
• Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.4
To print correctly, it is necessary to make the appropriate settings described in this section.

Select the printer with [Printer List] of [Printer Setup Utility], then click [Show Info].
The [Printer Info] dialog box appears.

Select [Installable Options], then select the options installed on the printer.
NOTE:
• Although you can set the options, processing will not be executed correctly if functions related to the options are set
incorrectly with the settings of other functions.
• Mac OS X 10.5-10.8
To print correctly, it is necessary to make the appropriate settings described in this section.

Select the printer with [Print & Fax] ([Print & Scan] for Mac OS X 10.7/10.8) of [System Preferences], then click
[Options & Supplies].
The dialog box appears.
