Push the staple cartridge into the finisher
until it clicks into place.

Note

•

If the finisher front door is not completely closed, a message will appear and the machine will
remain paused.

Replacing Booklet Staple Cartridge (for Finisher-C1 with Booklet Maker
or D2-Staple-Finisher with Booklet Maker)

When the Finisher-C1 with Booklet Maker (optional) or the D2-Staple-Finisher with

Booklet Maker (optional) is installed and the booklet staple cartridge needs to be

replaced, a message appears on the touch screen. When this message appears, load

a new staple case into the booklet staple cartridge.
This section explains how to replace the booklet staple cartridge in the Finisher-C1 with

Booklet Maker, as an example. You can apply the same procedures for the D2-Staple-

Finisher with Booklet Maker.

Important •

The use of staple cartridges not recommended by Fuji Xerox may degrade quality and
performance. Use only booklet staple cartridges recommended by Fuji Xerox.

•

When the machine is in Energy Saver mode, exit Energy Saver mode by pressing the
<Energy Server> button and the <Machine Status> button on the control panel before you
replace the booklet staple cartridge.

•

When you replace the booklet staple cartridge, press the <Machine Status> button and
check the current status for the booklet staple cartridge even when the control panel is lit.
