4-3. Option
The [Option] tab window on the LAN Setting screen allows you to set the Ethernet speed and the IP
address setting method.

After changing the setting,
press the [Apply] switch to
confirm the setting.
Item Description
Speed
Select [Auto] (default) to select the auto negotiation mode.
Select [10Base] to fix the communication mode to 10Base-T.
IP Address Setting
Select [Manual] (default) to manually set the IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
Select [Auto (DHCP)] to automatically acquire the information necessary to establish an
internet connection (IP address, subnet mask, and gateway) via the DHCP server (router
etc.).
* This function can be used for either one of the LAN, LAN2, or WLAN settings.
When automatic allocation is successful, the allocated IP address is displayed.
After automatic allocation, the display and operation of items change as follows:
• The IP address, subnet mask, and gateway settings on the [IP Setting] tab window
are grayed out.
• Network tables displayed on the [IP Setting] tab window cannot be selected.
• Network tables cannot be edited or added on the [Network Table Edit] tab window.
