I
ntroduction of IR thermometer
This is a non-contact infrared thermometer suitable for measurement on
the forehead. The thermometer measures the body temperature by
detecting the heat radiation emitted from the forehead. It is easy to use,
reliable and highly accurate. The user can get a precise reading within one
second by touching it. This thermometer is widely used in families, schools
and offices.
1.
BASIC SETTINGS
Before each setting, press the measurement trigger to turn
the thermometer on.
2. Press "-" button for 2 seconds to switch between body and object
temperature.
3. Press "+" and "-" keys to check the stored temperatures;
4. press "Set" key for 2 sec. The screen will display "F1", now press
"+""-" buttons to choose between Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F);

SET ALARM TEMPERATURE
Press "Set" button for 2 sec. The screen will display "F1", press the
"Set" button repeatedly until "F2" is displayed on the screen, then
press the "+" "-" buttons to set the alarm temperature. Default setting
is "37.5 °C";

SET ALARM TONE
Press the "Set" key for 2 sec. The screen will display "F1", press "Set"
key repeatedly until "F3" is displayed on the screen, and then press
"+" "-" keys to set the alarm tone, default setting is "on";

OFFSET / DEVIATION SETTINGS
Press "Set" button for 2 seconds, the display will show "F1", press
"Set" button several times until "F4" is shown in the display, then
press "+" "-" buttons to set any deviation. Default setting "0.0";
Tip:
The offset can be set from -3.0°C~+3.0°C in the normal
measurement distance and environment. For example, the body
temperature in a special environment is measured as 35.9°C, but the
actual body temperature is 36.6°C, in this case, the offset
temperature can be set to "0.7" by "F4").

FACTORY RESET
Press the "Set" key for 2 seconds, the screen will display
will show "F1", press the "Set" key several times until "F5" and "dEF"
are shown on the display, now press the "+" key three times and the
"-" key three times to perform a factory reset. All stored values and
settings will be lost.

SAVE
If you press the measurement trigger key in the "Settings" menu , all
settings are saved and the menu is closed.

Settings
1. Insert the batteries as described in point 7.
2. Press the colored measuring trigger to switch on the thermometer, the
display is then illuminated.
3. check the setting on the display, when measuring the temperature of a
human being, the display must show "Body temp" in the upper right
corner and in the upper right corner you will see either °C or °F for the
measuring unit. If necessary, adjust the setting as described in point 7
"Settings".
4. Hold the thermometer with the infrared sensor facing forwards at a
distance of 1-5 cm in the center of your forehead and then briefly press
the measurement trigger. The thermometer confirms the measurement
with a tone and the display shows the measured body temperature.
5. if the temperature is too low, the screen will show "Lo" and the
background will be illuminated orange, if the temperature is too high, the
screen will show "Hi" and the background of the display will be
illuminated red.

Make sure that the sensor and probe cavity are clean, otherwise
accuracy will be affected.

water or alcohol to wipe the housing;

Operation
Open the battery cover and take out the used batteries; insert 2 pieces of
AAA batteries according to the positive and negative poles (see the
following picture), close the battery cover.
Read these instructions carefully before using
the thermometer!

You are required by law to dispose of batteries.
You will find these signs on batteries containing
harmful substances:
Pb = battery contains lead,
Cd = battery contains cadmium,
Hg = battery contains mercury

Do not disassemble this thermometer yourself. Keep the thermometer

No special maintenance of this thermometer is required. Please contact
the dealer or manufacturer in case of malfunction.
Do not use the thermometer under the conditions of strong

measurement methods. Please practice appropriate measurements to
