General Inform-
ation on Plasma
System Induct-
ance L

The way that the hosepack is arranged has a significant effect on the properties
of the plasma arc. Depending on the length and arrangement of the hosepack, a
high plasma system inductance can be produced, especially during pulsing. The
increase in current is limited.

Correct hosepack arrangement

Plasma stability can be optimized by
modifying the hosepack arrangement.
The hosepack must always be arranged
as shown in the diagram.
