FRITZ!Box Fon ata – 2 Starting FRITZ!Box Fon ata Operation

2.8 Connecting FRITZ!Box Fon ata to ISDN or the

Analog Telephone Line

FRITZ!Box Fon ata can be connected to an ISDN or an analog
telephone line. To connect FRITZ!Box Fon ata, perform the
following steps:

Remove the enclosed ISDN/analog cable (black) from
the package.

Connect one end of the cable to the socket on FRITZ!Box
Fon ata labeled “ISDN/analog”.

If you have an ISDN access, connect the other end of the
cable to the socket of your ISDN network terminator (NT).

Connecting FRITZ!Box Fon ata to the ISDN NT

If you have an analog telephone line as well as DSL,
connect the other end of the cable to an RJ45 adapter
first. Then use the adapter to connect FRITZ!Box Fon ata
to the socket of your DSL splitter.
