1. ON RECEIPT OF THE PRODUCT

When unpacking the unit, check that there has been no

damage in transit. Installation of a damaged unit is not

permitted. Avoid lifting the unit by the connection adapt-

ers or mains cable. The package contains the following

items:

1. Heat recovery unit

2. Attachment rail

3. Installation manual

4. Control unit with cable

NB: Assembly, adjustment and test operation as de-

scribed in these instructions must be performed by ap-

propriately authorised personnel.

2. SAFETY REGULATIONS

Do not install the unit in areas where the following may

occur

• Air containing oil or grease.

• Corrosive or flammable gases, fluids or vapours.

• Risk of the unit being exposed directly to water.

• Risk of freezing or an ambient temperature higher than

40 °C.

All pipes and cables must be routed in accordance with

current regulations and applicable standards for the

country in question. The installation must be inspected

and performed by an authorised person.

When installing the unit, take care not to damage the

electrical system or other components.

The installer is responsible for installation and making the

electrical connection of the unit. It is the responsibility

of the installer to ensure that the equipment has been

installed in a safe manner. The installer must also ensure

that the equipment is mechanically and electrically safe.

All regulations and requirements must be observed to

the letter to prevent any danger to life and property both

during and after installation, as well as in connection with

any subsequent servicing and maintenance.

The unit is to be connected via a plug connector to an

earthed wall socket (230 V) and should have its own

separate 10 A fuse.

Make sure the mains voltage (voltage, frequency and

phase) conform to the rating plate.

The fresh air treatment unit is designed and configured

for use with Fresh control devices, vents, grilles and ac-

cessories.

The unit’s condensate drain must be connected to the

building’s waste water system.

Certain applications may require installation of additional

sound insulation to ensure permitted noise levels are not

exceeded.

The unit may not be connected directly to a tumble dryer.

During test operation, wait at least five (5) minutes when

switching between speeds to allow the unit time to sta-

bilise.

On a newly installed unit, check the ventilation/extraction

filters at monthly intervals for the first six months.

Warning!

This product is not intended for use by persons (includ-

ing children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless

they are supervised or have been given instruction con-

cerning use of the product by a person responsible for

their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the product.

Warning!

Make sure the condensate pipe cannot be exposed to

risk of freezing. This would involve a risk of water leakage

and damage.

replaced, free of charge, provided that the product:

• Has  been  installed  and  used  in  accordance  with  the

instructions.

• Has not been connected to an unsuitable electrical sup-

ply. (The correct voltage is indicated on the rating plate

which is on the unit).

• Has  not  been  subject  to  incorrect  use,  neglect  or

damage.

• Has  not  been  modified  or  repaired  by  a  person  not
