8. TROUBLESHOOTING AND

REMEDIAL ACTION

In the event of a problem, always troubleshoot the unit

using:

The fault code shown on the control unit.

The fault indication LED if connected.

If there are no indications, troubleshoot in accordance

with the fault symptoms described in the following tables.

Service/fault code screens

The Service screen is displayed alternately with the fault

code screen if a fault requires that the unit be switched

off and you have to call the phone number displayed on
the screen to get help.

The fault code screen is displayed alternately with the

Service screen if a fault has occurred. Note down the fault

code so that you can refer to it when reporting the fault.

If you need help, contact Fresh and state the fault code.

The following fault code numbers may be displayed. The

code numbers are concatenated if more than one fault is

detected.

Heating fault

A heating fault indicates the fan status. If the heating sys-

tem in the building stops working and the indoor tempera-

ture drops below 5 °C, the unit switches off automatically

to prevent more cold air being blown into the building,

which will already have experienced a drop in tempera-

ture. The unit starts up each hour and works for a brief

period to measure the temperature in the property. Once

the temperature rises, e.g. if the heating system switch-

es back on, the unit is restarted and continues working

as usual.

The bottom row of the display may be (Fan switched off,

Fan restart).
