6.1 TEST OPERATION
Switch on
To switch on the unit:
1. Insert the plug, or switch on at the external main switch.
2. Once the unit has been switched on, the fan motors will start
and the control unit will show a series of start-up screens; see
the description below.
NB! If you intend to perform work on or maintenance inside the
unit, switch off the power at the wall socket which supplies the
unit before removing the covers.

The control unit display
The control unit is located on the front of the unit. The control
unit contains the user interface for test operation and monitoring
purposes.
Display
The main display is an LCD display (LCD) with 16 characters x
2 rows, with automatic background illumination which is switched
off automatically to minimise power consumption.
Buttons
Four buttons on the control unit provide access to the controls for
configuration and monitoring of the unit.
Button Function
Press to adjust the settings and to save the settings.
Press to go to the previous screen or to increase a parameter
value.
Press and hold for more than 2 seconds for rapid scrolling.
Press to go to the next screen or to decrease a parameter value.
Press and hold for more than 2 seconds for rapid scrolling.
Press to activate acceleration mode. See page 24 for options.
Press and hold for 5 seconds to activate Cleaning mode. (Press
and hold for 5 seconds to stop cleaning).
