5.3 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
WARNING
1. THIS EQUIPMENT HAS MAINS VOLTAGES
(220-240 V AC) LIABLE TO GENERATE AN
ELECTRICAL SHOCK WHICH CAN PROVE
FATAL OR CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY. ONLY AN
AUTHORISED ELECTRICIAN OR INSTALLER
MAY CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY TO THIS
UNIT.
The unit is designed for operation from a single-phase AC
source (220-240 V AC). A 1.5 m cable is connected inter-
nally to the unit for connection to a fused mains socket.
Connection to the mains:
Make sure the local AC supply is switched off.
One end of the mains cable supplied is already connected
to the unit and has been routed through the cable grom-
met plate via a suitable gasket ring to ensure the protection
class of the unit is not affected.
Connect the other end of the cable to the fused mains
socket.
Use cable clamps and clips to secure the cable in a suitable
fashion.

24 V DC is fed to sensor between the + and – poles.
A 10 V proportional supply voltage is applied between the S and – terminals.
P2 0-10 V Proportional 2
24 V DC is fed to sensor between the + and – poles.
A 10 V proportional supply voltage is applied between the S and – terminals.
LED Red LED, Output
A 5 V LED operating signal is supplied between the + and – terminals to enable remote indication of
faults on the unit. See the control panel for the fault codes.
L Mains, live 220-240 V AC, 50 Hz input
N Mains, neutral 220-240 V AC, 50 Hz input
