Ethernet Physical Transceiver (EPHY)

19.1

Introduction

The Ethernet physical transceiver (Ethernet physical interface) is an IEEE 802.3 compliant 
10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet PHY transceiver. The Ethernet physical interface module supports the 
medium-independent interface (MII) and the MII management interface. The EPHY requires a 25-MHz 
crystal for its basic operation.
