What happens if
I
go out of range and lose the link
between the speakermic and the adapter?
When
the speakermic is out of range of the adapter, the
speakermic will beep and the adapter will blink
red.
To establish the link, move the speakermic within
range of the adapter. The adapter indicator light
will resume flashing green.
Will my speakermic communicate with more than
one adapter at a time?
No. When the speakermic
and adapter are paired they exchange a unique
and individual ID. This exchange ensures that
communication occurs only between the linked
speakermic and adapter.
Can I charge my speakermic thru a USB cable on my
computer or USB wall jack?
No. The voltage needed
on the speakermic is 6V and your computer and
standard USB chargers are only 5V. Plugging in you
speakermic to any other cable than the provided
cable may cause damage to your computer or
charger.
Do I need to modify my radio in any way for the
speakermic or adapter to work?
No. The only
requirement is that you have the appropriate
adapter that belongs to your radio.
What happens if I lose my speakermic and need to
use my radio to communicate ?
Turn the adapter
switch to OFF. With the adapter off, you can use
your radio functions as if the radio were not
attached.
Do I need to pair my speakermic again when
exiting the vehicle?
No. If you turn off your
portable radio when you enter your vehicle, the
Seek Mode allows your FMC 200 to immediately
reconnect to the radio once you’ve turned it
back on when exiting the vehicle.
How soon should I recharge my speakermic
when I hear the low battery alert?
The low
battery alert indicates 20% remaining charge,
or approximately 8-10 hours of remaining talk
time.
