Overload alarm

Error code flashes: OL or Lr
The Overload (while running) and Locked Rotor (at startup) alarms indicate that the SPGC-
220 has detected that the motor power consumption (in watts) is above the acceptable range 
compared to the calibration value. The Overload (OL) and Locked Rotor (Lr) alarms are usually 
caused by a locked PMA rotor (due to debris or damage) or improper calibration.

Was the PMA  

replaced with a 

new PMA of the 

same horsepower?

Press and hold the Reset button 

until the display goes blank.

Release the Reset button.

Lock and tag out the STP 

circuit breaker.

Monitor 

for proper 

operation.

Calibrate 

the 

controller.

Proceed to the STP sump.

Energize the hook signal.

Did the
