Once the appliance has been charged for the first time, we recommend using it until the battery is discharged com-
pletely. Allow the appliance to operate until the motor comes to a stop. Then recharge the battery. Perform this operation
at least twice a year.
TO BEGIN
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off before removing or installing the head or before attaching the guide
comb.
- To attach the head, adjust the bottom of the accessory on the appliance and interlock until you hear a click.
- To remove the head, hold the appliance’s handle with one hand and remove the head with the other hand by pushing
it upwards.
- If you are using the clippers for the first time, please be careful: do not make any fast movements; uniform movements
are recommended.
USING THE GUIDE COMB
- The cutting height indicated on the guide comb is given in millimetres and corresponds to the hair length after cutting.
- Tip: start by cutting using a high cutting height and gradually reduce the cutting height until you achieve the desired
result. The guide comb guarantees a uniform cutting height.
- IMPORTANT: always position the guide comb BEFORE turning the clippers on and always turn the clippers off before
removing the guide comb.
- Place the guide comb on the edges of the clippers’ blades then push on the back of the guide comb until you hear a
click. To remove, detach the back of the guide comb then remove it.
TO THIN OUT AND TAPER YOUR BEARD/MOUSTACHE
- Attach the adjustable guide comb to the trimmer’s blade and select the desired length by sliding the guide comb
upwards or downwards.
- Once you have set the adjustable guide comb to the desired length, switch the trimmer on.
- Place the guide comb’s flat top against the skin.
- Complete movements towards the edge of your beard/moustache to size it according to your preferences in the
different areas of your face and movements towards the outside of your beard at neck level.
TRIMMING YOUR SIDEBURNS
Start with the edges of the sideburns and, with the blades of the trimmer pushed gently against your skin, more the
appliance towards the outer edges of the sideburns to size them according to your preferences.
TO TRIM YOUR NECK
Note: You will need a mirror to do this if you are alone.
- Remove the adjustable guide comb from the clippers. Use your fingers to remove the hair from the neck. Your index
finger should cover the roots of the hair you want to remove to prevent any accidental cutting with the trimmer.
- With your other hand, hold the trimmer at the base of your neck with the blades facing upwards and move the trimmer
up along the length of your neck until it comes into contact with your finger covering the roots of the hair at the base
of your head.
Make sure that you move the appliance slowly when doing this and hold the roots of the hair at the base of your head
away from the trimmer.
TIPS FOR ACHIEVING THE BEST RESULTS
Beard, moustache and sideburn hair must be dry. Avoid applying lotions before using the trimmer.
