SERVICING
Caution DO NOT attempt to service the refrigeration equipment without isolating
the cabinet at the supply switch or by unplugging it from the supply.
Ventilation
Panels
All ventilation panels should be kept free of dust by regular vacuuming, so that
air flow is not restricted.
Control Gear Some of the control gear is located on a chassis
behind the control panel, together with an MCB.
Here will be found the refrigeration controller and
compressor relay, the power supplies for the lights
an anti-condensation heater and an MCB.
The condensate
detection module
is mounted on the
boil-off tray.
The condenser
starting and running components are mounted
on the compressor.
Condenser
Radiator Whether integral or remote, for efficient refrigeration
performance, the condenser radiator must be kept clean.
Failure to do this will lead to an accumulation of dust, and
the restricted airflow will prevent the unit from working
properly. The compressor may overheat and the cabinet
temperature may rise.
It is best to clean the radiator with compressed air.
Be very careful not to apply force to the fan blades or
bend or damage the soft aluminium fins. If the fins are
flattened, airflow will be restricted and overheating will
result.

Circulation
Fans
The cabinet air circulation fan(s) are
located in the base of the cabinet.
Access is gained by removing the deck
trays and removing the two fan deck
retaining screws.
The fans are programmed to operate at
specific speeds, and must only be
replaced with the correct spare part.
