– Driving
4.1
– A safe environment
Before each ride, check 3 essential points:
- Make sure all controls can be easily reached.
- Make sure the batteries are charged enough for the ride.
- Make sure the safety belt is in good condition.
- Choose the lowest speed (Profile « 1 ») and remain watchful.
- Start driving in a familiar environment
4.2
– Remote joystick
The direction taken by the wheelchair depends on the movement of the joystick.
Pushed forwards : the wheelchair moves straight ahead.
Pushed to the right : the wheels turn to the right, then use the joystick to indicate direction.
Pushed to the left : the wheels turn to the left, then use the joystick to indicate direction.
Pushed backwards : the wheelchair reverses.
4.3 - Braking in the wheelchair
To brake, all you need to do is release the joystick. The joystick returns to neutral.
For emergency braking, move
the joystick to “reverse” position.
