3.5.6 ModBus Setting

Modbus work mode
When the modbus’s work mode is NetworkRTU
，
the IP MODEM can distinguish the modbus
data sent from server. The modem will gather the data or set the state of port according to the
modbus commomd consisted in the data. Then the modem will tranfer the result in modbus
protocal form to the server.
AT Command:
AT+MBMODE=x
x = 0/1 0 : Disable MODBUS
1 : Network RTU

Modbus address
ModBus address represents the MODBUS device address of IP MODEM itself. The server
will find the modem on the basis of this address. Modbus address will work when the Modbus
Work mode is Network RTU.
AT Command:
AT+MBADDRESS=x
x= 1~247
3.5.7 Port Setting

Digital quantity work mode
The IP MODEM has 3 digital quantity ports in all

IO2
，
IO3. These ports are corresponding
with pin 8,9,10. IP MODEM will operate these ports accord to the MODBUS commond
received if the Modbus work mode is Network RTU.
