Thank you for the purchase of your
Fostex
product. If your
MR-8mkII
came with
A/C adapter model AD12-1000
please confirm that the latest version software
V1.05 is installed on the unit. If the unit powers on with V1.04 or any other
software version other than V1.05, PLEASE update your software for using the
AD12-1000 adapter.
This will avoid an intermittent failure of the phantom power feature.
(MENU>INPUT>Phantom Power>On)
. If you are not familiar with this feature,
please refer to page 137 of your manual for details.
Updating your software is very simple and easy to do. Please go to
www.fostexusa.com
and go to the
software update
section of the site
(http://fostexusa.com/index.php?file=support/software_updates)
. There you
will find
software version V1.05
. Please download the software and install it in
your MR8mkII. When you download the software you will also receive a PDF file
with instructions how to perform the update.
Caution when powering on MR-8mkII (All models)
If you use the phantom power feature it is recommended that you do not leave
your microphone connected when powering up. Please disconnect your phantom
