Use hazard lights. Attempt to park
in a safe position.
Use an emergency phone rather
than a mobile as emergency
services will then know the location
of the vehicle.
Never use a child seat in a front
passenger seat which is fitted with
an active airbag (SRS). Follow all
fitting instructions carefully.
Check seat positioning and security
before use.

When parked, the handbrake should be fully
applied with the vehicle left in first or reverse
gear for vehicles equipped with manual
transmission or P (Park) for vehicles with
automatic transmission.

NOTE: Vehicles are not usually supplied
with a tyre repair kit (for vehicles that use
this in lieu of a spare wheel).
Key / remote control operated central double locking, high security locks. Depress the central locking switch to lock the
doors from the inside. Auto re-locking. All doors will auto lock on vehicle motion.
Remote anti-theft alarm. Passive arming of electronic engine immobiliser after removal of the key from the starter switch.
Visible VIN plate. Some vehicles may be fitted with an alarm.
Tipper variant.
Internal electric internal adjustment operated via a control knob on the driver’s door.
Electric front operated via control switches on the driver’s door.
Ensure gear selector is in neutral and handbrake is on. Place ignition key in starter switch. Use a normal starting routine.
Select desired gear. Release handbrake and brake pedal and gently press the accelerator to move the vehicle. Some
vehicles are fitted with auto start-stop technology, whereby engine automatically shuts off when in neutral, pedals are
not depressed and the vehicle is not moving. To re-start just depress the clutch. Some vehicles may also be fitted with
permanent 4WD.
Centrally locked. Located under panel on inside of front passenger door. Open flap and insert the fuel pump nozzle, the
capless refuelling system will differentiate between petrol and diesel fuel pump nozzles.
Rotate the blue oval badge on the bonnet to insert key to unlock and open the bonnet. Unhook catch under bonnet.
Loosen the retaining bolt to lower the wheel to the ground. The tools and jack are stored behind the driver’s seat. Move the
vehicle to firm / level ground. Turn the engine off, select first gear (manual) or P (automatic). Apply the handbrake or parking
brake. Loosen the wheel nuts (do not remove them). Only use the specific reinforced jack points on the underside of the
vehicle. Crank the jack to lift the vehicle. Undo wheel nuts and change the wheel. Lower the vehicle. Tighten the wheel nuts.
