INSTALLING CHILD
RESTRAINTS

WARNINGS

NEVER use a rearward facing child
restraint on a seat protected by an
ACTIVE AIRBAG in front of it, DEATH

or SERIOUS INJURY to the CHILD can
occur.

Use an approved child restraint to
secure children less than 150 cm
(60 in) tall on the rear seat.

Read and follow the manufacturer's
instructions when you are installing
a child restraint.

Do not modify child restraints in any
way.

WARNINGS

Do not hold a child on your lap when
your vehicle is moving.

To avoid risk of injury, do not leave
children or pets unattended in your
vehicle.

If your vehicle has been involved in a
crash, have the child restraints
checked.

Only child restraints certified to
ECE-R44.03 or later have been tested and
approved for use in your vehicle. A choice
of child restraints are available from
authorized dealers.

Note:

Mandatory use of child restraints

varies from country to country.

Note:

Children should be properly

restrained in a rear seating position
whenever possible.
