3. Close the charge port door by pressing
the indentation on the charge port
door. Continue pressing the indentation
while the door rotates closed.
HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY CUT-
OFF SWITCH
WARNING
Do not store a severely damaged
electric vehicle in a garage or near
other vehicles. This is a fire risk and
could result in personal injury or death.
Note: In the event of a crash, this vehicle is
equipped with a high voltage battery cut-off
switch that stops the flow of electricity to
the electric motor.
In the event of a crash:
•
exit your vehicle and move to a safe
distance
• notify the emergency services of the
crash and inform them that your
vehicle is electric powered.
If the electric motor stops after a crash,
you may restart your vehicle using the
following procedure.
1. Press the power button to switch the
ignition on.
2. Press the power button to switch the
ignition off.
3. Open the door and wait for two
minutes.
4. Press the power button to switch the
ignition on again.
After completing this procedure your
vehicle will detect if the electrical system
is safe and unlock automatically. You can
start your vehicle normally by pressing the
brake pedal and the power button.
