46. Position the universal powertrain lift.

CAUTION: Do not allow the engine oil pan to rest on the powertrain lift.

Using a bracket from a heavy-duty engine stand, support the front of the engine.

NOTE:

The next seven steps must be carried out with the vehicle raised and the universal powertrain lift in position.

48. Remove the bolts and the nuts, remove the engine support bracket.

49. Disconnect the power steering return hose.

50. Remove the bolts and the transaxle support.
