Connect the antennas
The 320X appliance ships with two WLAN antennas and 1–2 optional magnetic car antennas and extension
cables.

For optimal performance, we recommend that you use two antennas.
Note:
The supported frequencies of the WLAN antennas are 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The supported
frequency of the car antennas is 2.4 GHz.
1.
Determine whether to use the WLAN or the car antennas.
Note:
You cannot use the WLAN and the car antennas at the same time.
2.
Install the WLAN antennas.
1.
Connect the two WLAN antennas to the two WLAN ports on the back panel of the appliance. Tighten the
knurled nuts at the base of the antennas to secure them firmly to the appliance.
2.
Position the antennas so they are not in direct contact with other objects or surfaces.
3.
Install the magnetic car antennas.

(Optional) Connect the antenna extension cables to the WLAN connectors in the cables of the car
antennas.
2.
Connect each cable to a WLAN port on the back panel of the appliance. Tighten the knurled nuts at the
base of the cable to secure it firmly to the appliance.
3.
Attach the antennas to a metal surface.
Note:
Aside from the antenna mounting surface, the antennas should not be in direct
contact with other objects or surfaces.
