In order to use the product in a safe manner, please read this Owner’s
Manual thoroughly before using.

This product is designed for use in automobiles (DC12V only).

Please consult with a car audio specialist before installing or adjusting this prod-
uct.
●
The warranty and product repair are only valid if this product is installed by an
authorized dealer.
Compensation for accidents, trouble, or repair, etc., due to the disregard of this
warning is the responsibility of you, the owner.

This product is designed for use in automobiles with grounded 12V power. Do not use this product in ve-
hicles, such as large trucks, diesel vehicles equipped for cold weather operation, etc., that are equipped with
24V power. Doing so can result in fire, damage, etc. If this product is to be used in a vehicle equipped with 24V
power, consult with the dealer from whom you purchased this product before using.

Do not install this product in places such as those described below.
Doing so may inhibit driving or cause this product to become detached from where it is installed, resulting in
a traffic accident or injury.
• Locations where it may block your vision while driving.
• Locations where it may hamper automobile operation, such as steering or operation of the
shift lever, brake pedal, etc.
• Locations that may put passengers at risk.

If the installation of this product requires the drilling of holes in the automobile, install this product in a
location where the drilling of those holes will not damage or come into contact with the automobile’s pipes,
hoses, tanks, and wiring, etc. Improper installation can lead to fire or damage.
●
When wiring this product, disconnect the negative (–) terminal from the battery.
Not doing so may cause a short circuit resulting in electrical shock or injury.
●
When using the automobile’s fasteners, such as nuts or bolts, to connect the system’s ground, do not use
those that are found in the any of the automobile’s safety systems such as steering, seat rails, brake system,
etc.
Using these fasteners may result in accidents, damage, etc.

When installing this product’s wiring in the automobile, make sure that the wires do not come into contact with
any of the automobile’s components that get hot.
The insulation on the wires can melt causing a short circuit resulting in accidents or damage. Pay particular
attention when installing the wiring in the engine compartment.

Never split the lead wire to supply power to other product.
●
When installing or reinstalling this product, consult the dealer from whom you purchased this product to
ensure that this product is installed and operated in a safe manner.
Installation of this product requires special skills and procedures.
●
Make sure the parts supplied with this product are used properly.
Using parts that are not supplied with this product may cause internal damage to this product or cause this
product to become detached due to unstable installation. This can result in accidents, damage, etc.
●
Do not install this product where it may be exposed to rain, water, high humidity, dust.
Moisture, humidity, or dust inside this product can produce smoke or fire.
●
Do not install this product where it can not be adequately secured such as locations that are susceptible to
vibration, etc.
This product can become detached causing accidents or injury.
●
When using the automobile’s fasteners such as bolts, nuts, etc., to install this product, never use those found
on parts related to the steering, seat rails, brake system, fuel tank, etc.
Doing so can result in obstructing movement or operation of the part, damage, or fire.

Make sure that this product is properly connected.
Poor connections can result in fire or accidents.
●
Do not run wires through or around the automobile’s moving parts on the body, seat rails, etc.
Wires may be cut causing short circuits that may result in accidents, electric shock, or fire.

After wiring is complete, secure all wires with a clamp or insulated tape.
Cables that are in contact with the automobile’s body can wear out and short, resulting in accidents or fire.

If this product’s power wire is connected directly to the battery, use a power wire that has a greater load
handling capacity than what is recommended for use with this product.
Using a power wire that has an insufficient load handling capacity can result in fire or electric shock. For
this particular product, we recommend purchase of a large gauge power wire, which is sold separately.

When drilling holes in the automobile to install the wiring, use insulated grommets.
Wires that are in contact with the automobile’s body can wear out and short, resulting in accidents or fire.
●
When using the automobile’s fasteners such as bolts, nuts, etc., to install this product, make sure all
fasteners are firmly tightened.
Loose nuts and bolts can result in accidents or fire.
