8. Remove the Main PCA from the panel
by carefully pulling the
board
away from the four press-fit standoffs (two near the front of the PCA
and two near the middle).
Removing the Self Test PCA
3-22.
Use the following
steps
to
gain
access
to
the 9132A Self Test PCA:
1.
Check that
power
to
the Pod is OFF.
2. Open the self test drawer on the right-hand side of the Pod. Once the
drawer reaches
its
stop, push upward
on
the metal
tab
on the bottom of
the drawer and continue pulling on the drawer until it
is free
of the Pod
case.
3. Remove the flat
self
test
cable from the connector
on the
Self Test
PCA.
4.
Remove the three screws holding
the
Self Test PCA to
the
drawer
(two near the self test cable connector
and one near the Sync Module
connector).
5.
Remove the Self Test PCA from the drawer
by
carefully pulling the
board away from the two press-fit standoffs (near the ZIF socket).
Removing the
ROM
Module
PCA
3-23.
Use the following steps to
gain access to the ROM Module PCA:
1.
Check that the ROM Module is disconnected from the UUT and that
power
to
the module
is
OFF.
2.
Turn the bottom of the module
up, and
remove the four Phillips screws
from the comers of the case.
Pull
the bottom away from the rest of the
unit.
3. Tum the module over and place the handle of the ZIF socket in its
upward position.
4.
Carefully pull the
top
of the case
away
from the ROM Module PCA.
Removing the Sync Module
PCA 3-24.
Use the following steps to
gain
access to the
Sync
Module PCA:
1.
Check that
the Sync
Module
is
disconnected from the UUT
and
that
power
to
the module is
OFF.
2.
Tum the bottom of the module
up, and
remove
the four Phillips screws
from the corners of the
case.
Pull
the bottom away from
the rest of the
unit,
3.
Remove the grommet holding the RESET line from the case. Carefully
pull the
top
of the case away from the Sync Module PCA.
