Exercise
The Exercise function repeatedly pressurizes a DUT to reduce the effects of
hysteresis. The Exercise menu specifies a maximum and minimum Setpoint
pressure and how many times to repeat the routine (cycles).
To Exercise, set a few parameters so the Product can do the task. These
parameters are:
Maximum
– Max Setpoint
Minimum
– Minimum Setpoint
Cycle
– How many times to repeat
Delay
– How long to stay at setpoint when reached
Control at Target
– If ON, the Product uses the dynamic control mode to keep
pressure at the Setpoint. If OFF, the Product uses static pressure control at the
Setpoint.
Program
The Program function allows the setup of custom pressure sequences. The
Program menu specifies the naming of the program, creation of the program
steps, system Measure setup, Controller setup, and DUT uncertainties. The full
setup is stored as part of the Named Program and resides with the chassis.
Program Type
- Select one of the following types:
Pressure
- A simple pressure device without electrical output.
mA
- Use the optional EMM to read and record the mA output of the DUT.
DCV
- Use the optional EMM to read and record the voltage output of the
DUT
.
Run
-
Executes the selected program.
New - Enter File name
-
up to 25 characters, Starting and End Pressure,
number of steps Up/Down, Dwell Time (time at setpoint), Max Time (continues to
next step, regardless of Dwell time). Supports 99 programs, each program can
have up to 99 steps.
Cycles
- Number of times to repeat the selected program up to 99.
Edit - Modify program:
edit, add, or delete specific program steps.
Setup
Measure Setup
- Adjust system Resolution and Head height Parameters.
These parameters can be automatically loaded from the existing system
settings.
Control Setup
- Adjust system Control Limits, Ready Tolerance, Mode –
Static/Dynamic. These parameters can be automatically loaded with the
existing system settings.
